Traffic Division
The mission of the Traffic Division is to make the streets of Pittsburg as safe as possible for all vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians. Help keep our streets safe by driving responsibly, being considerate of others, and following all of the rules of the road.
Radar Trailers
Radar trailers are self-contained police radar units with large digital displays that are placed at locations where there have been complaints of excessive speed. The intention is to alert motorists of their speed, and give them a chance to correct their driving behavior.
For traffic issues in your neighborhood, or have questions for the Traffic Division, contact the Traffic Hotline at (925) 252-6952 or Sergeant Ryan Ruff at (925) 252-4089.
