New homeowners: Come to City Hall and bring proof of ownership, a California ID, state issued driver's license or a social security card with a picture ID.

Existing Homeowners (with prior water account): Come to City Hall or call 925-252-4940 to establish service.

Tenants: Come to City Hall and visit the Water Payment Center with the homeowner to establish service or bring a notarized water application along with a valid US ID.

Property Managers: The property management agreement must be on file along with the notarized water application and a current business license on file with the City of Pittsburg.

Requests to close water service are not accepted more than 24 hours in advance of the date requested.

To close your account, please come to City Hall, or if your ID is on file you may call 925-252-4940.

All accounts closed require a forwarding address for processing your final bill.
