Home MenuPittsburg Water delivery system
Our team manages Pittsburg’s water treatment plant and ensures that the pipes, pumps and meters that help us deliver your water are working well.
We continually look to make wise investments in the long-term infrastructure and water efficiency tools that keep your water service flowing. Your water meter, for example, was upgraded recently to support more accurate and timely monitoring of the water your use, and detect leaks. We calculate your bill every month based on actual water usage, so you don’t have to pay for water you don’t use. Together with Pittsburg Water, you can be as efficient as you need to be with your water.
Some other projects we have on the horizon include upgrades to our Highlands Ranch Reservoir, water main replacement at 11th Street, new filters at the treatment plant, and a multi-year program that upgraded 18,000 meters to an automatic meter reading system.
Pittsburg Water manages seven pump stations and eight drinking water storage reservoirs.
We produce 3,279 million gallons of safe water each year.
We proudly meet the Environmental Protection Agency’s safety and quality standards 100 percent of the time.
