The Montreux Residential Subdivision proposes to develop 351 single family homes on 165 acres located immediately south of the city limits, along the west side of Kirker Pass Road. The project proposal includes the following components:
- Vesting Tentative Subdivision Map;
- Amendment of Pre-zoning Designations;
- Annexation to the City of Pittsburg; and
- Development Agreement.
On August 17, 2015, the Pittsburg City Council certified an Environmental Impact Report, and on September 8, November 2, and November 16, 2015, the Planning Commission and City Council (as appropriate) approved the project entitlements as proposed.
The site is still subject to annexation review by the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO), which is expected to occur in mid-2016.

Approved Environmental Documentation:
The City of Pittsburg, acting as Lead Agency for the proposed project, has prepared and adopted a Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) that responds to all comments received during the Draft EIR and Recirculated Draft EIR public comment periods.
