The City of Pittsburg is certified by the California Department of Resources, Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) as the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA). The LEA is responsible for ensuring that all solid waste disposal facilities follow state and local regulations by conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly inspections. Solid waste facilities are facilities that accept disposal of solid waste or process recyclable materials from residential, commercial, and industrial.
Wood & Green Waste Chipping & Grinding Operation
