Contra Costa County Public Works Performing Road Work in Bay Point and Pacheco

 

October 21, 2024, Bay Point and Pacheco, CA– Contra Costa County Public Works will continue applying pavement surface treatment on various residential roads in the Bay Point and Pacheco areas through Friday, November 29, 2024, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), weather permitting.

 

Traffic control is being used with restrictions in place to minimize impacts during commuting hours. Message boards will alert drivers about the work. Subject to the curing time, roadways may be closed for up to 6 hours before reopening. Nighttime work is anticipated along Willow Pass Road, Muir Road, and at the intersection of Center Avenue and Pacheco Boulevard. Drivers should expect delays through the construction zone and consider alternative routes during working hours.

 

The project is intended to enhance existing roadways and increase the existing life of the County roadway network. Funding for this project is provided by Gas Tax (SB1 Road Repair and Accountability Act).
