The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Vessel Safety Check Day at the Pittsburg Marina for National Marina Days Celebration. The safety check will be held on Saturday, June 22 from 10am-2pm. The complimentary 20-minute Vessel Safety Check includes a check of: Numbering, registration or documentation, lifejackets, visual distress signals, fire extinguishers, ventilation, backfire flame arrester, horn, navigation lights, pollution and trash placards, marine sanitation device and many other important requirements. All required COVID prevention protocols will be followed. Upon completion of the Vessel Safety Check, boaters will also receive a California Boater kit, courtesy of the CA State Parks Division of Boating & Waterways, the CA Coastal Commission, The Bay Foundation, and USCGAUX Flotilla 51.
