The BART Pittsburg Center Station is under construction close to the High School Village neighborhood and will be open in 2017. The City is seeking input on how neighborhood residents would like to see on-street parking managed when the BART station opens. Should parking permits be issued to neighborhood residents and guests? Parking time limits (such as 4 hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.) or parking restrictions (such as no parking between 10 and 11 a.m. weekdays)? Are there other parking strategies that should be considered?
Bring your suggestions, concerns and comments to a public meeting on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Pittsburg High School Cafeteria (on School Street between Harbor St. & Somers St.). Childcare and a Spanish translator will be available.
