"The Meeting," a play depicting the supposed meeting of Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be presented in two performances at the California Theatre in commemoration of Martin Luther King Day.
Differing in their philosophies, but alike in their mutual respect for one another, the two men debate their varying approaches to the same grave social problems, both prepared to die for their beliefs but neither aware that an assassin's bullet would claim each of them.
Play presented in two performances, 8 p.m. Saturday January 14 and 7 p.m. Monday January 16.
